TASTEBUDS TOUR

September 6, 2011  Dateline: Chicago, IL USA
I did not move again today. Rich and Carol went on a TASTEBUDS tour of the Chicago Loop.  The tour lasted about 2 ½ hours and visited 5 different food locations as well as including a tour of the area surrounding the Loop.
The Company was started in May 2010 by an individual who lost his job and needed something to do.  Doubting he could find another position he started the company and is now working on opening an operation in New Orleans.
The food stops included restaurants that served Chicago Style Pizza, brownies, Chicago Style Hot Dogs, cup cakes, Cajun Gumbo and bratwurst.  While on the tour Rich and Carol saw this sign at a pub.

The cupcakes were very creatively decorated see for yourself in this picture.

In the Millennium Park there is a highly polished work of art that looks like a lima bean.  The reflections from the bean create some very neat images.  They are especially unusual when you stand in the middle of the bean and look up.
Here is looking up in the bean showing Rich, Carol, Wayne and Francine.

For those who know the movie called the Blues Brothers the tour also took Rich and Carol went to the Richard M Dailey Plaza where the office of the Cook County Tax Assessor was located in the movie.  The statute in the front of the building was presented by Picasso.

Tomorrow I hopefully, will enter the rivers and go to Joliet.
